Question 1

What is the KneeZen™ 3-in-1 Heated Knee Massager?

Accepted Answer

KneeZen is a cordless, rechargeable knee wrap that combines three things in one: soothing heat, vibration massage and gentle air compression. You strap it around your knee, choose your settings on the touch panel and relax for a session of around 15 minutes, on the sofa, at your desk or in bed.

Question 2

What are the three modes?

Accepted Answer

Heat gently warms the area around the knee. Vibration gives a soft, steady massage. Air compression gently squeezes and releases around the joint, a bit like a hand massage. You can use them together or on their own, depending on what feels best for you.

Question 3

What comes in the box?

Accepted Answer

You get the KneeZen wrap with its adjustable straps and a USB charging cable. If you choose the 2 massagers + 3 gel packs bundle, the gel packs are included too. A wall plug isn't needed if you already have a USB charger, such as a phone charger.

Question 4

Is KneeZen cordless?

Accepted Answer

Yes. KneeZen charges by USB and then runs without a cable, so you're not stuck next to a socket. You can sit wherever is comfortable while you use it, then charge it again afterwards.

Question 5

Is it easy to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The controls are on a simple touch panel on the wrap itself. There's no app to download and no complicated set-up: charge it, strap it on, press to start and choose your mode.

Question 6

How long is a session?

Accepted Answer

A session lasts around 15 minutes. That's long enough to sit back and relax, and short enough to fit into your morning or evening routine.

Question 7

Can I use it on other parts of my body?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The long adjustable straps also let you wrap KneeZen around your elbow or shoulder. Many households use one massager in more than one place.

Question 8

Will it fit my knee?

Accepted Answer

The adjustable hook-and-loop straps fit most adult knees. Wrap it around so it feels snug but not tight; you should be able to slide a finger underneath. If it feels too tight, loosen the strap a little.

Question 9

Can I wear it over clothes?

Accepted Answer

It's best used directly on the skin or over thin clothing like leggings, so you feel the warmth and massage properly. Avoid thick trousers, which make it harder to fit and can block the heat.

Question 10

Can I walk around while using it?

Accepted Answer

KneeZen is designed for when you're sitting or lying down and relaxing. Walking with it on can loosen the straps and is not how it's meant to be used. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the session.

Question 11

How often can I use it?

Accepted Answer

Most people use it once or twice a day for a session of around 15 minutes. Give your skin a rest between sessions, and stop if anything feels uncomfortable. If you're unsure, ask your GP or pharmacist what's sensible for you.

Question 12

How do I clean it?

Accepted Answer

Switch it off and unplug it first. Wipe the outside gently with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry fully before use. Don't put it in water or the washing machine, as it contains electronic parts.

Question 13

Can I use it on both knees?

Accepted Answer

One KneeZen fits one knee at a time. If both knees bother you, or two people at home want to use it, the 2-massager pack lets you treat both knees together and costs less per massager.

Question 14

Is KneeZen a medical device?

Accepted Answer

No. KneeZen is a personal massage device for comfort and relaxation. It doesn't diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If you have ongoing, severe or worsening knee pain, please speak to your GP or a pharmacist, or call NHS 111.

Question 15

Who should check with a GP before using it?

Accepted Answer

Please check with your GP first if you have a pacemaker or other implanted device, are pregnant, have diabetes, poor circulation or reduced feeling in your legs, have had recent surgery or an injury, have a blood clot or swelling, or have broken or irritated skin on the area.

Question 16

Can I use it if I have arthritis?

Accepted Answer

Many people with stiff, achy knees find warmth and gentle massage relaxing. KneeZen is not a treatment for arthritis, though. Talk to your GP about managing arthritis, and ask whether heat and massage are suitable for you.

Question 17

Can I use it after a knee replacement?

Accepted Answer

Only when your surgeon or physiotherapist says it's OK. Never use heat or massage on a fresh wound or a joint that is still swollen or healing. Follow your recovery plan first.

Question 18

What should I do if it feels uncomfortable?

Accepted Answer

Stop the session straight away and take it off. Check that the straps aren't too tight and that you're not using it on irritated skin. If redness, pain or swelling continues, speak to a pharmacist or your GP.

Question 19

Which pack should I choose?

Accepted Answer

1 massager (£59.95) suits one person with one sore knee. 2 massagers (£104.95) are best for both knees, or for two people at home. 2 massagers + 3 gel packs (£179.80) is our complete bundle.

Question 20

How much do I save with 2 massagers?

Accepted Answer

The 2-massager pack costs £104.95, about £52.48 per massager, compared with £59.95 for one on its own. That's around £15 less than buying two separately.
